Who does your work, and what happens in weeks 1, 4 and 12
No account layer between you and the people doing the work. This page is who runs your audit, who writes the pages, who ships them into your site, and what you have in hand at the end of week one, week four and week twelve.
The people who do the work
RankZero started as the AI search tracking platform agencies use. The people who built it are the ones who run your account, so the results carry their names rather than an account manager's.

Owns the strategy: what the first call covers, your 90-day roadmap, and what gets prioritised each month.
Built RankZero into the platform 30+ agencies now use to track AI search.
Education
London Business School and IE Business School
Runs the audit, builds the tracking, and ships the technical fixes and the content into your site.
Built the audit engine behind our free tools. Founded a startup before this one, and drove 1M+ organic visits across SaaS and B2B brands before RankZero.
Peter Hunter
Takes first calls alongside the founders, so the slot you pick is one you can actually book.
8+ years growing B2B accounts in the UK, US and APAC.
The same people run every engagement, and that is deliberate: the person who audits your site is the person who writes the plan and the person who ships it.
Johannes and Niels
Who audits, who writes, who ships
Three jobs, and no handover in between. Every line below is a job someone here does, not a stage in a diagram.
Who audits
Niels Post- The audit runs before your first call, on our own AI search tracking rather than a third-party export.
- Where you show up today across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and which competitors get named in your place.
- A technical crawl: index coverage, schema, Core Web Vitals.
- Your keyword and ranking baseline, set before any work starts.
Who writes
Johannes Notheis and Niels Post- Every piece starts with the SERP and the reader, not a brief template.
- Drafted for search and for AI answers at once, then checked against your own claims.
- A human review gate before anything reaches your CMS. Nothing is generated and published unread.
- Your byline and your voice on every piece, never ours.
Who ships
Niels Post- Technical fixes and content go into your site, not into a document you have to action.
- Published to your CMS: 4 to 6 new articles and 2 to 4 rewrites of existing pages a month.
- Distribution per article, to the sources AI answers actually read.
- Tracking stays live throughout, in your own GA4 and Search Console.
Week 1, week 4, week 12
A retainer is easier to sign when you can see the calendar it runs on. Here is what lands, and when.
Kickoff and baseline
- Kickoff call, then access to GA4, Search Console and your CMS.
- We build your brand context: voice, ICP, the competitors you are actually measured against.
- Your RankZero brand and prompt tracking go live.
- The technical audit and the keyword baseline complete in week two.
In your hands
A 90-day roadmap tied to your pipeline goals, and the baseline every later number is read against.
The first month is live, not planned
- 4 to 6 new articles and 2 to 4 rewrites published to your CMS.
- Technical fixes applied to your site.
- Prompts tracked daily across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, with Claude on request.
- A check-in call every two weeks, and your first monthly report: rankings, traffic, citation share.
In your hands
Work live on your own site inside 30 days, and a report of what moved rather than what is planned.
The 90-day mark, and the number that settles it
- Three full cycles of the engine: research, publish, distribute, report, then priorities refreshed on what actually moved.
- The citation and share-of-voice picture, compared against where you started.
- AI-referred sessions read in your own GA4, against the 90 days before kickoff.
- The guarantee is measured here, in analytics you own and we do not control.
In your hands
An answer to whether it worked that does not depend on taking our word for it.
What we owe you if week 12 does not land
If AI-referred sessions in your own GA4 have not risen at least 25% in your first 90 days, months four to six are unbilled and you can end the engagement at any point in those months. One condition: changes you have approved go live within 10 working days.
Baseline is the 90 days before kickoff, and we agree the counted referrers with you at kickoff. Your analytics decide, not ours.
B2B SaaS and ecommerce brands
Companies whose buyers ask an assistant which tool or supplier to use, and who are not one of the three to five brands it names back.
Two of them are named on our services page, Summit Trails and Ookulli, alongside what moved for each. The anonymised ecommerce engagement is written up in full under case studies.
We run the same program on this site. The tracking you would be measured in is the tracking we point at ourselves.
Questions we get before the first call

See where you stand first
The audit runs before we speak, on your site and on the competitors getting named instead of you. Free, and there is nothing to qualify past. If we are not the right fit, you keep the audit and the roadmap either way.
