# Tracking Competitors (/docs/competitors)







Competitors come back throughout all of RankZero, they make up the industry ranking, show up in mentions of recent chats and are linked in your sources.

## How to Add Competitors

Navigate to Competitors in your sidebar. From here, you can:

## Add Competitors Manually

Navigate to the Competitors page and use the Add Competitor form:

* **Name:** Enter the competitor's brand name as it typically appears in AI responses
* **URL:** Add their main website domain (used to detect source citations)
* Click **Add Competitor** to save

**Why this matters:** You can't win what you can't see. Track who AI recommends when your customers ask questions, then take back that ground.
